Shanghai China, 15 October 2019 — Fung Group Explorium today hosted an unveiling ceremony of “The Logistics Lab” at LiFung Plaza in Shanghai. Initiated by Fung Group Explorium, the Logistics Lab is the second lab of The Innovation Labs project, co-built with Avery Dennison, LF Logistics, G2Link, Galaxis Technology, Libiao Robots, XYZ Robotics and Jingxing Logistics Equipment. The ceremony was graced with the presence of Mr. Dominic Gates, President, In-Country of LF Logistics, Mr. Qiu Baojun, SVP & CEO Special Assistant of GLP, Mr. Stanley Lam, Senior Vice President of Explorium, Mr. Dennis Khoo, GM of Intelligent Labels Greater China of Avery Dennison, Mr. Paul Wong, Vice President of Explorium, Mr. Lankey Shen, Co-founder & VP of Galaxis Technology, Mr. Edger Xing, COO of XYZ Robotics, Ms. Xia Hui Ling, General Manager of Libiao Robot, and Mr. Runlong Zhang, Director of JingXing Logistics Equipment, as well as many industry professionals.

As the innovation arm of Fung Group with the goal to create value for modern enterprises, Explorium launched The Innovation Labs project in 2019, which includes The Retail Lab, The Logistics Lab and The Manufacturing Lab, which focuses on the end-to-end innovation concept which will simulate the process of commodities from being manufactured, packaged and transported all the way to being sold at a retail store. In September 2019, the Retail Lab, equipped with RFID technology, was launched to create a revolutionary retail model; As the second lab in the project, the launch of The Logistics Lab represents a complete transformation of value-added solutions. It also marks another milestone in exploring the future of smart logistics, a big step forward in helping businesses transform for the future.

在这个无人作业的全自动仓储实验室中，利程坊联手多家合作伙伴，引入了RFID、IoT、图像识别、人工智能、云计算技术以及物流智能设备，通过创新的技术以及智能设备来高效替代低效率的传统仓储流程以及帮助品牌应对瞬息万变的市场变化所带来的供应链压力。在这个实验室中，超越了货到人的机器人模型，生动呈现了货到货到机器人的概念。
Explorium, together with their partners, showcases RFID, IoT, image recognition, artificial intelligence, cloud computing technology and logistics intelligent devices. The Logistics Lab is an “unmanned warehouse” project designed to showcase a fully automated warehouse. It enables a “goods-goods-robot” model using new digital technologies to transform traditional logistics for a new era.

星猿哲科技的COO邢梁立博介绍到，XYZ Robotics凭借全球领先的深度学习和视觉算法，无需逐个注册商品3D模型，即可实现多品类SKU全识别，可有效解决电商仓动态更新的海量SKU的无序拣选难度，准确率可达99.9%。
In the piece picking process, Edger Xing, COO of XYZ Robotics, introduced that XYZ Robotics can identify the full recognition of multi-category SKUs without the need to register 3D models of products one by one. This is made possible by relying on the world’s leading deep learning and vision algorithms, which can effectively solve the difficulty of disorderly sorting of massive SKUs dynamically updated by e-commerce warehouses, with an accuracy rate of 99.9%.
立镖机器人总经理夏慧玲女士表示，“立镖机器人为创造适合物流的柔性自动化而来，探索解决各种场景的痛点不停歇，旨在实现物流与仓储中各分拣环节的自动化，包括入库分拣、出货分拣、退货分拣等环节。”
Ms. Xia Hui Ling, general manager of Libiao Robot, said that Libiao Robot was born to create flexible automation suitable for logistics, and to solve the pain points of various scenarios, aiming to improve the automation of various sorting links in logistics and warehousing, including incoming goods sorting, order delivery sorting, sales return sorting and so on.
